A couple of days after I bought this, Comcast decided - with no warning to me - that my home cable modem was EOL ("end of life"), so I was going to not have home internet from them until I replaced my modem (preferably from them). Having this FreedomPop hotspot was a lifesaver for the household for the couple of days until we could get our new modem (from Amazon).
Easy to use and Great Speed
It is my 2nd Zing LTE Hotspot from FreedomPop and both are working great. Battery life is great too, have never run out even when I left it on all day.
Serves my purpose well; very pleased.
I bought this hotspot to fill a certain need. That being when I travel from our rural area to "town" then I have data coverage. For whatever reason my carrier is very weak there. My only problem with the device is that sometimes to get it to shut down completely I need to remove the battery. Haven't gotten around to calling tech support. If not for this then I would rate it 5 stars. All in all, with the price and performance, this has exceeded my expectations. So I am very pleased. Would definitely recommend. One other kind of negative. It was hard to find how to downgrade my service; tiny, tiny print at the bottom; should have known. But even paying the extra $9.99 was still a great value.
